WEEK 4

DAY 1 – SUNDAY

ARCHITECT LEVEL – 8

PORTFOLIO COMPLETION – 53%

After breakfast Elisa finally repairs the broken screen on her phone.

She gets a call from Jack Bunch inviting her to his party.

Elisa reaches handiness level 5 fixing her laptop

And painting level 8.

The toilet has again broken much to Elisa’s dismay!  However she reaches handiness level 6 fixing it.

Elisa heads over to the Bunch house for the party.  Really a pool party in this weather!!

But just as she arrives she gets a call from Artie inviting her out on a date.  Hmm pool party in the snow or date with Artie – no question!

Elisa is shocked to see that Artie invited her to a junkyard for their first date.

Elisa: Just keep smiling, just keep smiling.

But as it happened she had a wonderful time.

The junkyard had the most beautiful view over Sunset Valley and it was actually very romantic.

They ended the evening with a nightcap at Elisa’s

DAY 2 – MONDAY

There was only time for a quick breakfast before Elisa had to head off for work.

MONDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Teenage Sanctuary

CLIENT – Iliana Langerak

BUDGET - $3,000

BASE FEE - $864

REQUIREMENTS –

Elisa takes some measurements and gets to work.

Despite the awkward space she manages to create a classy teen room.

By the time Iliana returns it is already 4pm.  Elisa hopes that she gets a good bonus for this job as she won’t have time for a second one today.

“Overall I think you did a great job!  Ah, a new desk.  I’ll be able to get so much work done now.  Also I absolutely love all those hand crafted objects you used.  I had my doubts about you but you did a really fine job.  I’m very happy with what you did.”

Elisa earned a $1,000 bonus!

In honour of completing 25 jobs Elisa has earned a reward and stops by City Hall to collect her Architectural Designers Valour Trophy.

She also earns a promotion!  Elisa is now level 9 architect – Sultan of Style and earns $1,824 per week.

Elisa receives an opportunity to do a painting for Jocasta Bachelor but it’s too late to start on that so she heads to bed.

DAY 3 – TUESDAY

The sink breaks after washing up the breakfast dishes but there is no time for repairs as Elisa is already running late!

TUESDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Enlarge Pool

CLIENT – Thornton Wolff

BUDGET - $10,000

BASE FEE - $1,140

REQUIREMENTS –

As no-one is home Elisa starts the renovation. 

Elisa: How in plumbobs name am I supposed to enlarge that!!

She managed it – just and was able to enlarge the pool very slightly.  As well as the required items she also added a BBQ and picnic bench.

“Overall, I think you did a great job!  Morgana is going to love all of that new art.  Also, I absolutely love all those hand crafted objects you used.  Sometimes someone steps into your life and makes everything better.  Thanks for being that special someone.”

Elisa earns a $1,000 bonus and a photo for her portfolio!

TUESDAY JOB 2

JOB TYPE – Writing Room

CLIENT – Vita Alto

BUDGET - $4,500

BASE FEE - $912

REQUIREMENTS –

·         Dining Chair

·         Coffee Table

·         TV

·         Computer

·         Desk

Elisa decides to upgrade the existing office.

Elisa made very few changes just updated the existing furniture.  But she hadn’t managed to spend the whole budget and worried this would go against her.

“Overall, you did a good job!  I love all those hand crafted objects you used.  I had my doubts about you, but you really did a fine job.  I’m very happy with what you did.”

Elisa earned a $1,000 bonus – phew!

With the previous jobs going so smoothly Elisa had time to squeeze in a 3^rd job.

TUESDAY JOB 3

JOB TYPE – Teenage Sanctuary

CLIENT – Fiona McIrish

BUDGET - $3,000

BASE FEE - $864

REQUIREMENTS –

·         Stereo

·         Dresser

·         Bed

·         Computer

·         Sculptures x 4

Again no-one is home so Elisa picks a room and hopes for the best.

She converted the child’s room.  Knowing that the child has the evil trait she tried to decorate accordingly.

“Overall, I think you did a great job.  How thoughtful of you to use such wonderfully personalized items while decorating!  I’m so glad I asked you to come help me.  I don’t know what I would have done without you.”

Elisa earned a bonus of $1,000.

Feeling happy with her days achievements Elisa decided to write Artie a love letter when she got home.

She then set about repairing the broken sink.

Preparing her evening meal took Elisa to level 9 cooking.

DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY

After breakfast and a quick play with Gibson Elisa Heads off to work.

WEDNESDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Study

CLIENT – Jocasta Bachelor

BUDGET - $4,000

BASE FEE - $912

REQUIREMENTS –

·         Drafting Table

·         Sofa

·         Bookshelves x 2

·         Living Chairs x 2

·         TV

Luckily Jocasta is home so Elisa is able to discuss the renovation.

And take some measurements and photos.

She decides to renovate the child’s room.

She was slightly worried Jocasta might find it a little cluttered and hoped that the bed wasn’t needed!

“Overall, I think you did a great job!  How thoughtful of you to use such wonderfully personalized items while decorating.  Thanks so much for applying your special talents to make my house a better place.”

Elisa earned a bonus of $1,000.

No time for a second renovation today so Elisa heads home.

DAY 5 – THURSDAY – LOVE DAY

There is no work today so Elisa finishes her painting for Jocasta.

Jocasta is thrilled with her work and pays her $1,720.  Elisa also earns 1,000 celebrity points.

She heads back home and invites Artie over.

As Elisa is doing so well I bought her a TV, jukebox and a car.

Elisa cooks Artie Dinner and then invites him to stay over.  She also asks him to go steady, he says yes to both J

With work in the morning Elisa heads off to work leaving Artie playing with the sculpting station.

DAY 6 – FRIDAY

Elisa serves breakfast and has a quick shower before heading off to work.

FRIDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – New Bedroom Set

CLIENT – Gobias Koffi

BUDGET - $7,000

BASE FEE - $912

REQUIREMENTS –

·         Dresser

·         Windows x 4

·         Double Bed

·         Fireplace

·         Rug

Gobias is home so Elisa takes time to discuss the renovation, take photos and measurements.

The room choice is nice and easy as the house only has 1 bedroom.

Elisa changed the colour scheme to suit the rest of the house and adds the required objects.

“Overall, I think you did a great job!  I love all those hand crafted objects you used.  Wow.  I mean… Wow.  Nice work.”

Elisa earned a bonus of $1,000

Elisa heads home and spends some time with Gibson before having tea and heading to bed.

DAY 7 - SATURDAY

Elisa starts her day off playing games on the laptop.

After breakfast she works on her design skills at the drafting table reaching painting level 9.

Elisa gets an opportunity to paint a large painting for Claire Ursine.

But first there is another broken appliance to repair!

With all appliances now working Elisa finishes her work on the drafting table.

After a bite to eat she makes a start on the painting for Claire.

And at 11:48pm (yes made it in this week just!!) Elisa receives her final promotion!

Elisa is now Level 10 architect – Dictator of Design and earns $2,976 per week!

And that’s all folks!  At the end of Week 4 Elisa has reached her goal of Level 10 architect!
