WEEK 2

DAY 1 – SUNDAY

SIMOLEONS - $581

ARCHITECT LEVEL – 3

PORTFOLIO COMPLETION – 13%

It had been a late night after Susan’s party so thankfully Elisa has another day off. I converted the spare bedroom into an art room. Although low on funds the new drafting table should help boost her career.

Breakfast takes Elisa to cooking level 3.

After breakfast Elisa calls Carlos and invites him out to the park.

The fall festival hasn’t arrived in town yet so they spend the day playing chess and Elisa reaches logic level 2.

After spending the whole day at the park Elisa heads home for an early night ready for the next working week.

DAY 2 – MONDAY

After grumbling about her cheap bed Elisa heads off to her new drafting table to research Architectural Design. Then heads off to her first job of the day.

MONDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Living Room Redesign

CLIENT – Iqbal Alvi

BUDGET - $9,000

BASE FEE - $200

REQUIREMENTS –

· Lights x 2

· Sofas x 2

· Coffee Table

· Living Chairs x 4

· Fireplace

No one is home so she has to wing it.

It was quite a struggle fitting all those items into the house and Elisa was worried that her client may find the room cluttered.

But he liked it.

“Overall I think you did a good job. I’m going to love all of those comfy places to sit – I’m quite the couch potato. Also I absolutely love all those hand crafted objects you used. I wouldn’t mind working with you in the future. Thanks!”

Elisa earned a $100 bonus and got a photo for her portfolio.

She also got a promotion! Elisa is now architect level 4 – feng shui fiend and earns $560 per week.

MONDAY JOB 2

JOB TYPE – Single Lady’s Den

CLIENT – Erin Kennedy

BUDGET - $15,000

BASE FEE - $200

REQUIREMENTS –

· Stereo

· Sofas x 2

· Rug

· Sculpture

· Expensive TV

Again Elisa’s client is not home so she begins the renovation. She takes a few photos to use as decoration and reaches photography level 2.

And another success! The week has started well for Elisa.

“Overall I think you did a good job. I love all those hand crafted objects you used. You did okay. Thanks for trying.”

Elisa got a bonus of $50 and a photo for her portfolio.

With no more jobs available she heads home.

Before heading to bed she works on the drafting table.

DAY 3 – TUESDAY

Elisa: Mmm pancake batter.

Elisa improved her cooking to level 4.

She manages to squeeze in some time on the drafting table before work.

TUESDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Exterior Makeover

CLIENT – Lliana Langerak

BUDGET - $2,000

BASE FEE - $210

REQUIREMENTS –

· Doors x 4

· Windows x 4

Elisa added extra windows and converted the flat roof to a terrace. However she forgot to add those personal touches so was unsure what the result would be.

“Overall I think you did a good job. I wouldn’t mind working with you in the future. Thanks!”

Elisa earned a $50 bonus.

TUESDAY JOB 2

JOB TYPE – Teenage Sanctuary

CLIENT – Dorie Hart

BUDGET - $3,000

BASE FEE - $280

REQUIREMENTS –

· Dresser

· Bed

· TV

· Gaming Console

· Desk

Elisa was very pleased with this room and remembered the personal touches.

“Overall I think you did a good job. I can’t explain why but Gus is very impressed with your work. Also I absolutely love all those hand crafted objects you used.”

Elisa earned a $500 bonus.

Elisa rolled a wish to get a tattoo and with the big bonus she just received she headed off to the salon.

She then heads home to take care of her needs.

She manages to finish her sketch on the drafting table before heading to bed.

DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY

Elisa was gifted a sketch pad which will help with her job level.

WEDNESDAY JOB 1

JOB TYPE – Writing Room

CLIENT – Geoffery Landgraab

BASE FEE - $280

· Desk

As usual no one is home so Elisa takes a few photos and begins the renovation.

Elisa completely stripped and redecorated the spare bedroom adding the required items plus a few extra touches.

“Overall I think you did a good job. I love all those hand crafted object you used. You did okay. Thanks for trying”

Elisa earned a $100 bonus plus a photo for her portfolio.

WEDNESDAY JOB 2

JOB TYPE – New Bedroom Set

CLIENT – Monika Morris

BUDGET - $7,000

BASE FEE - $280

REQUIREMENTS –

· Dresser

· Living Chair

· Double Bed

· Rug

Elisa changed the colour scheme added the required objects and a few personal touches.

Elisa earned a $50 bonus and a photo for her portfolio. She also got a promotion! Elisa is now architect level 5 – Décor Debutant and earns $584 per week.

As Elisa is now earning a steady income from her jobs she hires a maid.

A grumpy maid but a maid all the same!

DAY 5 – THURSDAY SPOOKY DAY

As it is spooky day Elisa has the day off.

And in typical style the rain has arrived.

Elisa heads over to the coffee shop to watch the Simfest and gets an invite to Clare Ursine’s costume party.

She spends some time chatting to Daniel the Spider (Artie Page) after the show.

They get along so well she invites him along to Clare’s party.

He accepts and the ride there in his LIMO!!

But as soon as they arrive Artie has to rush off.

Elisa takes advantage of the party to assess the needs of potential clients.

And manages to secure a job with Jocasta Batchelor

Elisa heads straight over to Jocasta’s to complete the renovation.

THURSDAY AD HOC JOB 1

JOB TYPE – New Pool

CLIENT – Jocasta Batchelor

BUDGET - $12,000

BASE FEE - $365

REQUIREMENTS –

· Outdoor Lights

· Bar

· New Pool

· Plants

· Lounge Chairs

With a big budget available Elisa creates a pool area

Upgrades the kids play area

And adds a BBQ

Elisa heads home to be greeted with a trick or treater.

Then has a mad moment playing in the leaf pile the maid had left. After a very long shower she heads to bed.

DAY 6 – FRIDAY

After breakfast Elisa works on a new sketch at the drafting table and increases her painting to level 5.

She now has enough points for some rewards so I got her The Profession Simolian Booster and Inappropriate in a Good Way.

FRIDAY JOB 1

With her latest promotion Elisa gained the ability to take measurements so sets about doing that before starting the renovation.

Elisa added extra windows, replaced the doors with new ones and added a few décor items to use up the rest of the budget.
